September

September was an extremely busy month. Trying to pack up our house, fix some things on the house, the play, and keeping up with the girls' therapies and doctor appointments.

We managed to get some good time together still. One of Little A's sensory aversions is hair brushing. She HATES it. It is a complete meltdown every time. She did really good this time though!

"Hiding" under the table. :)

Outside for a swing! Be painted our front and back porches before we moved. Little A loved helping paint them! She really did a great job too.

Reading stories with Daddy before bed.

We got Little A a backpack for school this year. She was SO proud of it! She picked it out herself. (It's Paw Patrol. She loves Paw Patrol so much even though she hasn't seen the show.)

Here she is all ready for Preschool. She was so excited to see her friends again, and meet her new teacher. Her old teacher (who has been retire for a year or two) actually retired. They had a hard time finding a new teacher so school started a few weeks late. We've loved her new teacher!

Her teacher brought in a bunch of little couches and chairs that are just the right size for all of the kids. Little A LOVES them. They look so cute sitting on them.

We went out for "First Day of School Ice Cream"! The poor girl was exhausted! But she loved her ice cream. :)

Baby L can't have dairy but she loved the cone.

Fell asleep as soon as we walked in the door. Poor baby.

She also got to start taking dance again! She was SO thrilled! She hates her dance clothes though, so she just wears whatever she happened to be wearing that day. She often wears her head phones, and needed me to hold her hand the first few weeks, but is now doing great! It still makes her nervous, and she won't participate in everything, but she does all the dances at home, ha!

Baby L had her first sleep study. We've been concerned about sleep apnea for a while because she wakes up so frequently at night. It was a really LONG night for both of us. We were both exhausted the next day. She was quite the trooper though. The test showed mild obstructive and unobstructive apnea. At her ENT appointment they scoped her breathing pathways and didn't find anything to be worried about. At her pulmonology appointment we talked about a cpap machine. He said she is a safe sleeper, so that's good, but that over time the apnea can cause problems, so we're going to try the cpap machine.

She also got to try out a walker at her PT appointment. She HATED it. We decided she's not quite ready for it, we'll try again in a couple of months. She's really close to crawling, but not there yet. Army crawls like a champ though!
