September

We started out September with a playdate with our friend S. She is a cutie! They had a lot of fun swinging, eating strawberries, picking food from the garden,

 and having a picnic.

We had another play date with the W's. These two princesses are just too cute together!

Little A officially started Preschool! She was SOOOO excited!

She was a little nervous when we got there, but once she saw the play doh she jumped right in!

After school I took her out for ice cream. She gobbled that whole cone up! It was huge!

Then she promptly passed out at dinner. Mid reach, lol! The one bad thing about preschool is that it's in the middle of the day. She still takes naps, in the middle of the day. So when she gets home she is EXHAUSTED!

One day I went to pick her up and found her sitting on her name reading a story. :)

Unfortunately along with Preschool came a whole lot of sickness. We were sick almost every other week. Lame.

We pulled the Bumbo out for Baby L. It was a little too early for her still, but Little A thought it was great! She loves sitting in it and playing with her toys, or putting her stuffed animals and dolls in it.

B watched little A for me while I was at the dentist. She took A and C on a walk and ended up at our friend the M's house. Mrs. M (D) is the story time lady at the library. She is awesome! Her son C is such a great kid! And so great with the girls. (As is his older brother.) He had me text him this picture so he could use it as his Facebook profile! I love it!

He was such a HUGE help during the Temple celebration! He came early, stayed late, went to extra rehearsals, learned choreography that we ended up not using, helped me teach the choreography, and a million other things. He seriously saved my sanity during this time!

During one of the extra rehearsals Allan was serving at the Temple so we arranged to have my sister watch the girls for me. There was some miscommunication though, and it ended up not working out. I didn't know though until I was already at the rehearsal. So, C and some of the other leaders took charge of the girls for me! I am so, so blessed! Little A thought it was the best thing ever to have C there with her. He even shared his lunch with her!

At another rehearsal Allan brought the girls to watch. Afterward he and little A played some basketball.

I came home from a long rehearsal late one night. I sat down by Allan and Baby L. She turned and saw me and practically jumped into my arms. Then she wrapped her arms around my neck and squealed, giving us the biggest smile we've seen yet! She continued to hug me, smile, and squeal for several minutes She missed me, ha!

Baby L turned 3 months old! She is such a joy! Sleeping through the night, giggling and smiling, moving like crazy! She loves to play on her play gym and bat at, kick, and grab her toys. She is getting better at holding her head up. The torticollis has gotten a lot better! She is eating really well too, which is a big relief! She loves to dance. If we turn music on she immediately starts moving to the beat.

We moved some things around to better accommodate the girls' rooms. There used to be a shelf on this wall, but now Little A has a reading nook. She loves to come in here and look at her books or play with her toys.

Little A is such a good big sister! She always wants Baby L to be involved and will take her toys to play by her. Sometimes she has little picnics with her. This time Daddy joined in too while I made dinner.

Grandad and Great Gram came down for a visit. Grandad took Little A to play at the play ground. She was thrilled to have the one on one attention.

Great Gram got some good snuggles with Baby L!

Little A always helps me teach Baby L how to lift her head during tummy time. Baby L still hates it, but she's getting there. A is so cute getting on her tummy and lifting her head.

Look at this little cutie!

We went on a fun family hike. It's about a mile and a half, with a really steep hill at the beginning. At the end is a beautiful lake. Little A walked the entire way there, walked in circles while we ate our lunch, hiked around while we were at the lake, and then made it about half way back before she'd had it.

At which point she walked over to a bench, laid her head down, and refused to move, lol! She was EXHAUSTED!

Allan is such a good Daddy; he gave her a piggy back ride the rest of he way down. Baby L slept through most of it, ha!

We went through the Temple during the open house. It was beautiful! It was so fun to walk through it and talk to Little A about what we do there. She loved all the pictures, and all the places to sit.

They had a Christus in the make-shift visitors center. Little A was SO excited to "see" Jesus. She ran up to him and then squealed in delight when she saw that he had toes just like her, lol! Then she had to tell Him all about her toes, ha!
